Area file overview

This part of the guide is to give you an overview of what an area file looks like so that you can see
all of the parts of an area file. We will go over each part seperately to avoid confusion.  If you have never built before, don't let this part overwhelm you.

Before the Castle~
Ahead of you stands a small castle, its
gates closed.

A smallish round fort. Large square
blocks of stone form its walls, and
an impressive looking gate seems
well made.~

entrance door portcullis gate~
Heavy oak timbers have been reinforced
with thick iron bands and rivets. It
seems to be quite solidly built.

Castle Courtyard~
The sun shines quite brightly in this
courtyard. To the north is the main
keep, and to the west are some stables.
To your east you can see a training
ground for the castle guard, long unused,
and what seems to be barracks and other
outhouses beyond.
